Aero Works Inc. the manufacture of the Aero-lite 103
existed from 1997 to 2005. Within that time it is
estimated 300 to 500 Aero-lite 103s were produced. The
Aero-lite 103 was originally designed by Terry Raber who
in 1998 sold the design to Aero Works Inc. The Aero-lite
103 received many awards such as 1997 Oshkosh Grand
Champion Ultralight, 1998 Sun-Fun Best Commercial
Design, 1998 Oshkosh Reserve Grand Champion Ultralight,
1999 Sun-Fun Grand Champion Ultralight and 1999 Oshkosh
Grand Champion Ultralight. As one of three
partners and President of Aero Works from 1998 to 2000,
I enjoyed the exciting growth and development of this
new product.
