What We’re Called:

The name “Wings of Freedom” (WOF) is derived from the feeling that every pilot has experienced when he or she takes to the air. The word that best describes this feeling… Freedom.

What We’re About:

Wings of Freedom Inc. was started in 1996 when it produced the Flitplane plans and offered it as a kit. From 1998 – 2000 the owners of Wings of Freedom were involved in the production of the Aero-lite 103. In 2005, the expanding LLC started to produce component parts for the Aero-lite 103. 2008 saw the birth of the production of the latest Phoenix 103. The give the pilots even more choices, WOF has co-marked with Raceair Designs to offer the Skylite and the LiL Bitts.

Mark Klotz, the owner of Wings of Freedom, LLC. has been a pilot of Ultralight Aircraft since 1988.

He was a Basic Flight Instructor; an aircraft dealer for Ultralights, and holds a general aviation license. Mark’s passion for aviation has taken him down many paths, and now he is able to offer the best gift of all: Affordable flight.
